This Saturday, November 18th, the Delica Chamber Orchestra, formed exclusively by women, will offer a concert with classical music used in films named ‘Great Adagios of Film Music’, organized by the Excelentia Foundation.
During the intermission, the audience will be invited to a wine tasting from Massveu Cellars – Bodegas Masaveu.
The planned program is the following:
- BACH – Brandemburgo Concert number 3 (Hannibal)
- MAHLER – Sinfonia num. 5 in C Sharp minor, Adagietto (Morte a Venezia)
- BARBER – Adagio (Platoon)
- WARLOCK – Capriol, Suite (If war should come)
- DVORÁK – Serenata for strings, larghetto
- MASCAGNI – Cavalleria Rusticana, Intermezzo (The Godfather)
- PACHELBEL -Canon (Volver a Empezar)
- ALBINONI – Adagio (Rollerball)
- ELGAR – Salut d´Amour (Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes)
- SHOSTAKOVICH – Romance, Op. 97: No 8 (The Gadfly)
- SCHUBERT – Serenade (Serenade)
