The Festival Ibérico de Cine (Iberian Film Festival) that celebrates its 25th anniversary from July 15 to 20, will offer a special film music concert next Friday, July 19th, which will include works by Spanish composers such as Roque Baños, Pascal Gaigne, Arnau Bataller and Zacarías Martínez de la Riva, among other pieces.

 

The concert will be performed by the Orquesta de Extremadura (OEX) conducted by David Hernando Rico, founder and director of the Bratislava Symphony Orchestra.

 

The program will be as follows:

  • Roque Baños – The Last Circus (2010)
  • Pascal Gaigne – Flowers (2014)
  • Pascal Gaigne – Lasa y Zabala (2014)
  • Arnau Bataller – The Chosen (2016)
  • Zacarías Martínez de la Riva – Tad Jones: The Hero Returns (2017)
  • Max Steiner – Gone with the wind (1953)
  • Ennio Morricone – The Mission (1987), Gabriel’s Oboe
  • James Newton Howard – King Kong (2005)
  • Harry Gregson-Williams – The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005)
  • John Williams – Hook (1991), Flight to Neverland
