On Thursday 8 and Friday 9, October 2020, the Orchestre Philharmonique de Strasbourg – OPS under the baton of Marko Letonja, will perform two film music concerts entitled ‘Bandes Originales – Selections de Musiques de Films’ at the Palais de la musique et des congrès in Strasbourg (France).
The first part of the concert will include classical music that has been used in movies, and the second part will include music by film composers such as Tan Dun, Ennio Morricone, Howard Shore, John Williams, Bernard Herrmann and Lalo Schifrin.
Prior to both concerts, at 19h, there will be a free talk entitled ‘Cinema and Classical Music’ by Jean-Stéphane Guitton.
