Yesterday, Sunday, June 4, the Film Symphony Orchestra held a concert at the Euskalduna Palace in Bilbao as part of its Krypton tour. Our collaborator Felipe Múgica attended the event, and while we’re waiting for the special article that we will publish soon, he leaves us here a brief commentary spiced up with a few official photos.
The program consisted of a varied selection of themes from super heroic movies, both from Marvel and DC, plus several themes from heroes of the past, such as Braveheart or Robin Hood. Counting the intermission, it was a concert of almost 2:45 hours, where the orchestra’s interpretations were combined with elaborate light effects in synchrony with the music and enthusiastic presentations by its conductor, Constantino Martínez-Orts. A very enjoyable concert, where there was no lack of winks with the audience and even a contest at the beginning of the second half.
