The festival invites arrangers and composers to apply for participation. Four of arrangers/composers will be selected. Each will be assigned a music program of up to 10 minutes, to be arranged for string quartet.
The call is open to arrangers/composers from all countries, including Croatia.
Selected participants will receive:
- stylistic guidelines,
- themes with chords, and for some works, complete arrangement materials,
- a copyright agreement and a fee of 50 EUR/minute,
- public promotion and visibility within the context of a project dedicated to Croatian film music,
- performance of the work at a renowned international festival and a music forum.
Participants will encounter a range of source materials – from original handwritten scores to basic thematic sketches with chords.
The organizer reserves the right not to select any candidates, if the submitted applications do not meet the expected quality standards.

Each selected participant will sign a copyright agreement by June 25, 2025, at the latest.
Final delivery deadline: August 25, 2025
Organizers reserve the right to request up to two revisions if necessary.
The arrangements will be featured in a concert program honoring Croatian film composers, with two premiere performances taking place in October 2025.
This project encourages international cultural collaboration, artistic networking, and creative exchange, offering participants a unique opportunity to engage with the musical legacy of Croatian cinema through a contemporary lens.
