The Spanish silent film ‘Snow White (2012, dir. Pablo Berger)’ will be screened next Wednesday 9th of May at the hr-Sendesaal venue in Frankfurt (Germany), while the orchestra hr-SinfonieOrchester conducted by Frank Strobel performs live its music composed by Alfonso de Vilallonga.
The soundtrack, winner of a Goya award, uses flamenco rhythms and vocal scores to create a versatile musical color, but without forcing the usual sound clichés. The screening of the film is presented by Arcadia Motion Pictures and the European Filmphilharmonic Institute.
The concert will also have a Flamenco ensemble composed by Juan Gómez “chicuelo”, Mariola Membrives, David Dominguez, and Isaac Vigueras.
