Media Sound Hamburg is an international summer school for Film music, Game music, and Sound design that started on 2011, taking place annually during 10 days in Hamburg (Germany), being held in 2018 from 8-17 June.

There, national and international film composers, game musicians, and sound designers, meet international professionals and renowned experts in various workshops, master classes, and forums, where the participants work on specific projects and get new ideas for their artistic work.

Looking at the summary of master classes, Ari Pulkkinen will be in charge of Game Music master class, Frans Bak will be in charge of Film Music and of Composing for TV Series master classes, Martin Hernández will lead Sound Design master class and Kuno Schmid will be in charge of Orchestral Film Scoring master class.

Looking at the rest of the program, we have to highlight the workshop ‘Becoming a Film Composer / Evolving into a Working Film Composer’ with George Christopoulos today Tuesday, June 12th, and the Prize-Giving Ceremony for the Young Talent Award 2018 tomorrow Wednesday, June 13th.
