The Cordovan guitarist and composer Curro Martín, friend and collaborator of SoundTrackFest, will premiere today, Thursday at 19:30h, in the auditorium of the Professional Conservatory of Music ‘Musico Ziryab’ of Cordoba, Spain, his work ‘Un Cordobés en Nueva York / A Cordoban in New York’, a programmatic suite for string quartet, flute, clarinet, piano, and marimba.
The piece, which forms part of the concert “The Viola in 20th and 21st Century Music”, will be performed by: Inmaculada Muñoz and Manuel Márquez – violins, Marta Sampere – viola, Antonio Quevedo – cello, Pedro Girba – flute, Rubén Rodríguez – clarinet, Elisa Gil – piano, and Jesús Ramírez – marimba.
