Today Thursday, Los Angeles Philharmonic conducted by the experienced composer and orchestra director David Newman, will perform live the music for ‘Singing in the Rain’ (1952) while the movie is screened at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
There you’ll have the opportunity to experience one of the greatest movie musicals of all time, with music by Nacio Herb Brown and lyrics by Arthur Freed, starring Gene Kelly, Donald O’Connor, and Debbie Reynolds.
Patricia Ward Kelly, Gene Kelly’s wife and biographer, will be part of the evening introducing the film.
