On Thursday, January 18, 2024, Sony Pictures Entertainment Chairman and CEO Tony Vinciquerra and SPE Motion Picture Group Chairman and CEO Tom Rothman dedicated the newly renamed John Williams Music Building on the historic Culver City lot in honor of the legendary Academy, Emmy and Grammy Award-winning composer.
At the dedication ceremony, attended by John Williams and his collaborators, friends, family, and industry leaders, Steven Spielberg and J.J. Abrams both spoke in celebration of the composer’s astounding career.
