The movie ‘Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory’ will be projected this Saturday at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, while its iconic songs, composed by Leslie Bricusse & Anthony Newley, are performed by an incredible cast accompanied by live musicians.
The show will include the actors/musicians John Stamos (Willy Wonka), Giancarlo Esposito (Candy Man), Richard Kind (Grandpa Joe), Elle King (Veruca Salt), Ingrid Michaelson (Mrs. Bucket), Finn Wolfhard (Charlie) and “Weird Al” Yankovic as the The Oompa Loompas. The music will be performed by DeVotchKa and an ensemble conducted by Jeff Hoeppner with the participation of violinist Sandy Cameron.
