A Light in the Void
After successfully completing their Kickstarter campaign months ago (read more), the concert experience project ‘A Light in the Void’, created by composer Austin Wintory and filmmaker Anthony Lund, has launched the ticket sales for the general public, for its premiere on Friday, October 5th, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. in the Boettcher Concert Hall of Denver (Colorado, USA).
‘A Light in the Void’ is the world’s first concert experience to blend unforgettable scientific stories told by world-renowned scientists, with stirring orchestral accompaniment and stunning visual narrative. Featuring all-original compositions, this experience will take the audience on a journey to learn incredible scientific facts and ignite their senses, while the story of science unfolds before them in a special blend of content, music, and visuals, lovingly choreographed to tell a complete story of 13.8 billion years in the making.
The event will include planetary scientist Carolyn Porco, physics professor Maria Spiropulu, and anthropology professor Alice Roberts as guest speakers, while the music, performed by the Colorado Symphony and composed and conducted by Austin Wintory, elevates the experience.
