Concerts and final program of Cinefan Festival Ubeda 2017
As it was previously announced (read news), this weekend, from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd of July, 5th edition of Cinefan Festival Ubeda will be held in Ubeda (Jaen, Spain), which will include two film music concerts as well as conferences, meetings with actors and other cultural activities.
Star Wars, will be celebrated during the event, to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the first episode of the mythical saga on the big screen this year 2017. In addition, the death of actress Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia) last December has been a trigger for the organization to devote a special tribute in this edition.
Among the guests who have confirmed their attendance are Hugh Spight, Jaime Ordóñez, Alan Harris, Simón Andreu, Anthony Forrest, Femi Taylor, Tim Rose and Vernon Dobtcheff.
The first concert will be “CINEFAN OPEN CONCERT: STAR WARS FAN CONCERT”, to be held on Friday, July 21st – 10:30 p.m. at the Courtyard of the Hospital of Santiago in Ubeda and will be dedicated to the music of films of the famous galactic saga. It will be performed by the Symphonic Band of Jaen conducted by Oscar Musso Buendia, the tickets will have a price of € 7 (€ 5 if you dress as a Star Wars character or go with a lightsaber) and will have the following program:
The second concert will be “CINEFAN CONCERT”, to be held on Saturday, July 22nd – 10:30 p.m. at the Courtyard of the Hospital of Santiago in Ubeda and will be dedicated to fantasy and fiction films of the 80s. It will be performed by the Symphonic Band of Jaen conducted by Oscar Musso Buendia, the tickets will have a price of € 8 (combined ticket for both concerts 12 €) and will have the following programa:
