The Fans of Film Music Society celebrates in 2020 its 10th anniversary, and together with the Academy of Scoring Arts, have organized a special event on Saturday, April 11, where Oscar-nominated composer John Powell will be the guest of honor.

With Kaya Savas hosting the event, John Powell will be giving an insightful look into his career, talking at length about his creative process. For over twenty years, Powell has delivered one extraordinary score after the next, and his work in the How to Train Your Dragon and Jason Bourne franchises is now legendary. In 2018 he scored Solo with a new theme by John Williams.

The event will feature Q&A and autograph signing, and then a buffet pizza/pasta/salad lunch will be served, courtesy of Vitello’s Restaurant.
