Festival ‘Culture is Life’ – Concert ‘Back to the Orchestra – A Retro Sci-Fi Symphony’
Next June the festival ‘Cultura es Vida / Culture is Life’ will start at the Trui Son Fusteret venue in Mallorca, Spain, having one of its first concerts dedicated to film music and entitled ‘Back to the Orchestra – A Retro Sci-Fi Symphony’.
In this concert, the Balearic Symphony Orchestra conducted by Damian Mahler will travel through the history of fantastic cinema in an audiovisual show, performing masterpieces of science fiction movies of the 70s/80s/90s created by the greatest composers such as John Williams, Alan Silvestri or Danny Elfman among others.
