Festival Della Colonna Sonora 2023 – 2nd edition
On Monday, July 10, the 2nd edition of the film music festival “Festival Della Colonna Sonora” kicked off and will be held in Reggio di Calabria, Italy, until Tuesday, August 8, 2023.
This film music festival, which had a successful first edition in December 2022 (read more), is held in the cities of Reggio Calabria, Crotone, Parenti, and Gerace in Italy, and will have concerts, meetings, and master classes, with the collaboration of the Italian composers’ association ACMF – Associazione Compositori Musica per Film.
The concert program is as follows:
- Monday 10/7/2023 – 20:00h – La creazione del paesaggio sonoro
- Wednesday 12/7/2023 – 21:00h – Cineconcerto Cult – Immagini al pianoforte
- Monday 17/7/2023 – 21:00h – Concerto Sinfonico della Colonna Sonora
- Monday 7/8/2023 – 19:00h – Guitar Soundtrack
- Tuesday 8/8/2023 – 5:45h in the morning – The sound of light – Colonne Sonore dell’Aurora
We have to highlight the symphonic concert on Monday 17/7, performed by the Orchestra del Teatro F. Cilea conducted by Alessandro Bagnato, featuring music by Ennio Morricone, John Williams, Hans Zimmer, Astor Piazzolla and many others, in collaboration with the ACMF – Association of Film Music Composers.
The concert will be held at the Arena Alberto Neri di Catona in Catona, Reggio Calabria, will be presented by Massimo Privitera, and the ticket will be priced at 12 € (reduction for children under 10 years – 5 €).
And the masterclass program is the following:
