Festival of Science 2018 – Royal Albert Hall
The Royal Albert Hall in London will celebrate the Festival of Science 2018 from May 2nd to June 28th, 2018, and has prepared a special program that has Space as the main theme, where in addition to educational or scientific talks, theater and performances for children, they will have the following film music concerts:
SPACE SPECTACULAR
A voyage through a galaxy of music from deep space and beyond, with lights, lasers, and indoor fireworks. The concert, performed by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra and conducted by Anthony Inglis, will feature works by Gustav Holst, Johann Strauss and John Williams (Star Wars, Superman, E.T., Close Encounters of the Third Kind…), plus Star Trek, Thunderbirds and many more.
Friday 11th of May 2018 – 7:30 p.m. & Saturday 12th of May 2018 – 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

STAR TREK – IN CONCERT
Star Trek – In Concert arrives at the Royal Albert Hall, with Michael Giacchino’s score performed live by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra conducted by Ernst Van Tiel.

STAR TREK BEYOND – IN CONCERT
And to end this thematic Star Trek weekend, the movie Star Trek Beyond will be screened with Michael Giacchino’s score performed live by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra conducted by Ernst Van Tiel.

CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND IN CONCERT
European premiere. John Williams’ groundbreaking and Oscar-nominated score will be performed live to picture by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra and the English Chamber Choir, conducted by Ernst Van Tiel.
