Harry Potter in Concert – World Tour (Madrid and Barcelona)

The music of the Harry Potter franchise, and specifically the music of the first three films of the saga, all signed by John Williams, are in a world-wide tour right now.

Organized by Cineconcerts and Warner Bros. ConsumerProducts, this tour features the music of the films Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone (2001), Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002) and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004), depending on the city and the function, although in the case of European cities, only Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone will be performed.

The tour includes a full symphony orchestra playing live music, while projecting the movie in high definition on a giant 100 feet screen, with an approximate duration of 146 minutes, adding an intermission of 20 minutes.

 

Of all the European cities through which the tour will take place, Madrid and Barcelona will be the only two Spanish cities of the show.

 

Thus, next Tuesday, January 3, 2017 will be the opportunity to enjoy the music of John Williams for Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (2001) at the Barclaycard Center in Madrid at 7 pm.

In the case of Barcelona, it will be necessary to wait a little longer to enjoy the same music, until Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 7:00 pm at the Palau Sant Jordi.
