John Carpenter starts a new tour in North America
The legendary horror and science fiction director John Carpenter, who has also composed or co-composed the music of most of his films, will start next October a new concert tour named “John Carpenter – Anthology”, that will go over the United States and Canada, although it is not discarded that it could be extended later to the rest of the world.
In perfect synchronization and just a few days before starting, the album “Anthology: Movie Themes 1974-1998” will be released on October 20th by Sacred Bone Records, which will contain re-recorded versions of the music composed by John Carpenter for 13 of his films; music that will also be played in the concerts.
