Michael Giacchino – 50th birthday homage concert
Michael Giacchino turns 50 years old next October 10th, and there isn’t a better way to celebrate that than with a homage concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London, next October Friday 20th at 19:30: “Michael Giacchino at 50 – A Birthday Gala Celebration“.
No additional details of the concert have been given yet, but honoree Michael Giacchino will be present in the hall, and will have a multitude of very special guests to help him celebrate his half century, being possible that Giacchino conducts the orchestra to some of his pieces.
The program will be a retrospective of his career, and will include among others, the music of the video game Medal of Honor, the TV series Lost and the films Up, Jurassic World, The Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, The Incredibles and the reboot of the Star Trek franchise, including also the latest movie from Star Wars: Rogue One.
