Michael Nyman’s concert in Fuengirola (Spain)
British composer Michael Nyman will perform on June 10 at 10.30 pm in Fuengirola (Málaga – Spain), at the Sohail Castle, within the XXII Edition of the Festival City of Fuengirola and the Marenostrum Music Castle Park, which will be held during the months of June and July.
The line-up of the festival comes full of international names such as Sting, The Beach Boys, Jamie Callum and Ara Malikian, or national names such as Loquillo y Revólver, Robe Iniesta or La Oreja de Van Gogh.
Thus, on June 10th, Michael Nyman will offer an intimate concert, with a program that will combine well-known themes with some of his video art works, which in many cases will be new for the Spanish public, and that the composer catalogs as “Cinema Opera” (music composed specifically for the images).
