Nightmare Before Christmas – Halloween concert in Los Angeles
While yesterday we informed about the concert Evil Dead In Concert – A Halloween Experience (see link), today we talk about another concert to be held in Los Angeles soon: Halloween at the Hollywood Bowl, “Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas” – Live to Film.
The concert, with live projection of the famous animated stop-motion movie The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993), will be represented in three sessions: Friday October 28th at 8 pm, Saturday 29 at 8 pm and Sunday 30 at 6:30 pm, and while almost all tickets for Saturday and Sunday sessions are nearly sold long ago, a third show has been added Friday 28th to meet the demands of the public.
The concert will feature the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra and Choir under the baton of John Mauceri, and will have the participation of Danny Elfman as the voice of Jack Skellington, Catherine O’Hara as Sally, Ken Page as Oogie Boogie and Paul Ruebens as Lock, all from the original cast of the film.
With almost all tickets already sold at prices between $ 35 and $ 200, it is still possible to get some seats but not in very good locations, unless you’re willing to access the official and authorized resale with prices up to $ 400-500 !!
