Composer Alberto Iglesias has been the winner of the best soundtrack award at the Festival de Cannes, for his work for the film ‘Pain and Glory (2019)’ by Pedro Almodóvar.
This award, named Cannes Soundtrack, is an independent award given by a jury composed of 30 international journalists, making this year its ninth edition.
The Palm D’Or of the festival has been for the film ‘Parasite’, by South Korean Bong Joon-Ho, and Antonio Banderas has received the award for best actor.
