Goya Awards 31st edition – Nominees

As usual in December, we continue with news about nominations to various awards, and in this case it is going to be nearby, the Spanish Goya Awards, that celebrate their 31st edition.

 

Organized by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences of Spain, they have the purpose of rewarding the best professionals in each of the different specialties of the sector, both technical and creative.

 

Divided into a total of 28 categories, we highlight the following, in which you can see some usual composers of these nominations:

 

Best original music/score

  • Julio de la Rosa – El hombre de las mil caras
  • Pascal Gaigne – El olivo
  • Alberto Iglesias – Julieta
  • Fernando Velázquez – Un monstruo viene a verme (A Monster Calls)

 

Best original song

  • Luis Ivars – Descubriendo India (Movie: Bollywood Made in Spain)
  • Sílvia Pérez Cruz – Ai, ai, ai (Movie: Cerca de tu casa)
  • Zeltia Montes – Muerte (Movie: Frágil equilibrio)
  • Alejandro Acosta, Cristina Manjón, David Borràs Paronella, Marc Peña Rius & Paco León – KIKI – Mr.K! feat Nita (Movie: KIKI, el amor se hace)

The gala will be held next Saturday February 4, 2017 at the Madrid Marriott Auditorium Hotel in Madrid, where in addition to the awards, a Honorary Goya will be given to actress and singer Ana Belén, being the ceremony presented by Dani Rovira, known Spanish comedian, monologuist and actor.
