ISFMF 2017 Festival – Dates and ‘Best Film Scores Awards’

The Croatian International Sound & Film Music Festival (ISFMF), held last year in Rovinj, Croatia, already has dates for 2017’s edition: from Friday October 20th to Sunday October 22nd, changing its location to Pula, Croatia.

The festival will also hold a new edition of the competition “Best Film Scores Awards”, where the “Crystal Pine” trophies are given.

 

The list of categories in the competition are:

  • Best Original Score in a Feature Film
  • Best Original Score in an Animated Feature
  • Best Original Score in a Documentary
  • Best Original Score in a Short Film (Live-action, Animated, Documentary)
  • Best Sound Mixing in a Feature Film (Live-action, Animated, Documentary)
  • Best Sound Editing | Effects and Foley in a Feature Film (Live-action, Animated, Documentary)

Remember that last year Spanish composers Ivan Palomares and Manel Gil-Inglada were ex-aequo winners for the Best Original Score in a Short Film, while Ivan Capillas Moran, Luc Suarez and Dan Anies were nominated in some of the other categories (read news).
