‘Universal Symphony Orchestra’ in concert tomorrow in Alicante (Spain)

Tomorrow, Sunday, May 7 at 7:30 p.m., the Universal Symphony Orchestra conducted by Jose Colomina will offer a film music concert at the Calderon Theatre in Alcoy (Alicante, SPAIN).

 

Universal Symphony Orchestra is an orchestra composed of more than 60 professional musicians from the Valencian Community and its repertoire is based mainly on great soundtracks from the history of the cinema.

The program scheduled for the concert tomorrow, with a duration of approximately 120 minutes, will be as follows:

  • John Williams – Jurassic Park
  • John Williams – Memoirs of a Geisha

SECOND PART

  • Ennio Morricone – Cinema Paradiso
  • Hans Zimmer – Man of Steel
  • Max Steiner – Gone with the Wind
  • John Williams – Schindler’s List
  • Hans Zimmer / Lisa Gerrard – Gladiator
  • Hans Zimmer / Nick Glennie-Smith – The Rock
  • Maurice Jarre – Lawrence of Arabia

The concert has been organized in collaboration with the Associació d’Amics de la Música d’Alcoi and the Culture Area of the Alcoy City Council, and will be dedicated to the Capitanía de la Filà Verds 2018.
