This Friday, August 18th, kicks off the 5th edition of SONAFILM film music festival, the largest edition to date, to be held until August 26 in the towns of Ondara, Denia, El Verger, Teulada Moraira and Calp, all in the Marina Alta of Alicante, Spain.
On Saturday 19 we will have the symphonic concert ‘Film Music – Made in Spain’ at the Auditori de Calp, which will be performed by the Universal Symphony Orchestra conducted by José Martínez Colomina, where soundtracks by Spanish composers will be played, with the best music for the audiovisual composed in our country.
The concert will be attended by the composers themselves as special guests: Manel Santisteban, Vanessa Garde, Diego Navarro, Arnau Bataller, Luis Ivars, and Iván Martínez Lacámara. In addition, the evening will feature the participation of singer Cecilia Krull, who will perform the song “My life is going On” from the famous TV series, ‘Money Heist’.

Tickets will be free with invitation until full capacity is reached. Invitations may be collected at the Casa de la Cultura -Friday, August 18 from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 17:00 to 21:00 and Saturday, August 19 from 10:00 to 13:00- and at the Auditorium itself -Saturday, August 19 from 18:00 to 20:00-. Collection of a maximum of 6 invitations per person.
Additionally, the following day, Sunday, August 20 at 11:00h, the Sala Multiespai l’Androna of Balearia-Dénia will host a conference with the guest composers of the concert ‘Film Music – Made in Spain’ of the previous day, moderated by Gorka Oteiza, director and founder of SoundTrackFest.
