2nd edition of the ‘Spanish Audiovisual Music Awards’ with Fimucité & Musimagen – Winners

The Tenerife International Film Music Festival (FIMUCITÉ) hosted yesterday night the 2nd edition of the ‘Spanish Audiovisual Music Awards’ given by Musimagen (Asociación de Compositores de Música para Audiovisual – Association of Music Composers for the Audiovisual) aimed at recognizing the creative talent in Spain.

 

The winners were announced during the concert ‘My Favorite Fears’ held on Friday, 27th of September, 2019, where a special suite dedicated to the music of the three award nominees in the ‘Best orchestral score’ was performed by the Orquesta Sinfónica de Tenerife conducted by festival director & composer Diego Navarro. The winning score will later be published by Musimagen.

 

This is the list of winners/nominees for the 3 existing categories:

Best score for a series

  • Iván Martínez Lacámara y Manel Santisteban – ‘Vis a Vis. Temporada 3’
  • Zacarías Martínez de la Riva – ‘Secretos de Estado’
  • Osvaldo Montes – ‘La víctima número 8’

 

Best electroacoustic score

  • Arnau Bataller – ‘El desentierro’
  • Alberto Torres – ‘Cómprame un revólver’
  • Pablo Cervantes – ‘Jaulas’

 

Best orchestral score

  • Vanessa Garde – ‘La gran aventura de los Lunnis y el Libro mágico’
  • Diego Navarro – ‘El fotógrafo de Mauthausen’
  • Juan Bardem – ‘El Reina’
