FIMUCS 2021 – NOVEMBER – Program and tickets
FIMUCS – Festival Internacional de Música de Cine Sevilla – Seville International Film Music Festival has started today selling the tickets for its concerts, as well as the possibility of registering for the many educational and professional activities related to the audiovisual music sector, after the postponement of the 1st edition scheduled for March to November 2021, due to the complications generated by the coronavirus (read more).
The Festival, organized by the Real Orquesta Sinfónica de Sevilla – ROSS, Loyola University, the production company Sevilla Film Orchestra and SoundTrackFest, will be held from November 25 to 27 at the Cartuja Center Cite Auditorium in Seville, Spain, offering two concerts, as well as various panels and master classes given by composers, orchestrators, and other professionals from the world of audiovisual music.
CONCERTS
On November 25 and 26, the Real Orquesta Sinfónica de Sevilla will pay tribute to the two Princess of Asturias Awards, the legendary composers John Williams and Ennio Morricone, conducted by maestros Marc Timón and Iván Palomares, respectively.
In addition, the aim is to promote and publicize the work of many Spanish composers who work in productions both national and international, hence the concerts will also include pieces by 11 Spanish film music composers: Arturo Cardelús, Pablo Cervantes, Pascal Gaigne, Vanessa Garde, Manel Gil-Inglada, Luis Ivars, Zacarías Martínez de la Riva, Iván Martínez Lacámara, Sergio Moure de Oteyza, Iván Palomares & Manel Santisteban.

MASTER CLASSES & MEETINGS
FIMUCS is also committed to training and debate on the composition and production of music for film, TV, and video games. For this reason, Loyola University has organized different round tables and master classes given by composers, orchestrators, and other professionals from the world of audiovisual music, which will take place on November 26 and 27 at the Cartuja Center Cite Auditorium covering the following topics:
In addition, the Festival wants to promote the growth of the audiovisual creation industry by bringing together directors and composers around specific projects. In this first edition, one-on-one meetings will be organized between directors of short films that are developing a specific project and composers who can create the soundtrack for those projects.
