Today, Friday, November 10th, the Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra conducted by Gioele Muglialdo will offer a concert with Greek and Italian composers’ film music, encompassed into the 58th edition of the Thessaloniki International Film Festival.

The first half will be a suite by Greek composer Nikos Kypourgos in homage to Manos Hadjidakis, named ‘Sweet Suite’, and based on Hadjidakis’ music for nine of the almost seventy-five films of his career.

The second half of the concert will have music from Italian composers Nino Rota and Ennio Morricone, and this last one, coincidently, turns 89 years old today!
