The Malaga Film Festival will soon launch the 5th edition of the Classic Cinema cycle named “The Golden Age”, which will screen a total of 22 classic films from September 7th to 14th, supporting the work carried out throughout the year by the Albeniz Film Archive.
This cycle will host a free concert on Friday, September 8th named “Woody’s songbook. The music in the cinema of Woody Allen”, that will be performed by pianist Juan Galiardo with a quartet, offering a selection of themes used by Woody Allen in his films.
Also note that the Picasso Malaga Museum Auditorium will host two meetings with actors and directors: one with Santiago Segura and David Trueba (September 8th) and another one with Juan Echanove and Carlos Boyero (September 9th), both at 8:00 pm and with free admittance until full capacity is reached.
This cycle of classic cinema is organized by the Malaga Festival with the collaboration of the “la Caixa” Social Work and Classic Films.
