Complementing the Primavera Sound musical festival (30/5-1/6), Barcelona hosts these days the Primavera Pro festival (29/5-2/6), which includes panels, conferences, concerts, and other activities in order to be a global meeting point for the world of music.
On-Screen, the section that Primavera Pro reserves for the dialogue between music and audiovisual disciplines, will welcome today Friday, May 31, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the CCCB: Center for Contemporary Culture of Barcelona, the composer Daniel Pemberton, author of the soundtrack of the revolutionary ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse‘, winner of the Oscar for the best animated film.
The composer will participate in a talk centered on his music for the movie, which has hip hop and urban sounds to offer an intricate musical narrative, and will also review his collaborations with filmmakers such as Guy Ritchie or Danny Boyle.
