South Bay Wind Ensemble in collaboration with Grand Vision Foundation will present today, Saturday, October 28th, “Frankenstein: Alive in Concert” the classic 1931 film – which has sound and dialog, but no music -, with a 2002 new score created by composer Michael Shapiro.
The event also features another 1931 classic—the Warner Grand Theatre itself, as both “Frankenstein” and the Warner Grand were introduced to Los Angeles in 1931.
The concert will also include a medley of Warner Bros. movie favorites from the 1930s to today.
