As we already informed you several months ago (read news), in a few weeks, from November 30 to December 2, 2018, the world premiere of “How to train your dragon – In concert” will take place in Lucerne (Switzerland) organized by City Light Concerts.

These three concerts will be performed by the City Light Symphony Orchestra, composed of 90 musicians, accompanied by a choir, and under the baton of Ernst Van Tiel. But the novelty is that it has just been announced that composer John Powell will participate in this world premiere, offering a pre-concert talk to each of the 3 concerts.

In these three pre-concert talks, moderated by Basil Boehni, Powell will give exclusive insights into his work and his score. The talks will begin one hour before the concert, will take place in the concert hall itself, and will last about 30 minutes (held in English). The talks are free for all concert guests with a valid ticket for the following concert.
