Akira Yamaoka and Games Waves Band in concert – FicZone (Granada)

This weekend, on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd of April, FicZone 2017 event will be held at the Fermasa Fairgrounds in Granada, focused on the world of comics, animation, games, and their soundtracks.

The events that will be offered throughout the weekend, at a musical level, are the following:

  • Friday, March 31st at 8:30 p.m. – Game Waves Band orchestra will offer a pre-FicZone concert at the Caja Rural Auditorium in Granada, where people will be able to enjoy well-known anime, film and video games themes, played by a pianist first and then with the whole orchestra. Admission is free until capacity is reached.

 

  • Saturday, April 1st at 1:30 p.m. – As part of the official FicZone program, Japanese composer Akira Yamaoka will play his electric guitar in a reduced format concert, accompanied by the Games Waves Band.

 

  • Saturday, April 1st at 6:00 p.m. – Epic Wing group will perform live some great hits from the 80’s and 90’s TV series, and versions of some of the most mythical soundtracks from movies and video games, played in rock style.
