Annie Awards 46th edition – Nominees

Yesterday, Monday, December 3rd, nominations were announced for the prestigious Annie Awards, which are already in their 46th edition, and that are organized by the International Animated Film Society, ASIFA – Hollywood.

 

With a total of 32 categories of nominations in total, regarding music we have 2 to highlight:

Outstanding Achievement for Music in an Animated TV/Broadcast Production 

  • Mathieu Alvado – Back to the Moon
  • Christopher Willis – Disney Mickey Mouse
  • Tony Morales & John Kavanaugh (music), Craig Gerber, Silvia Olivas & Rachel Ruderman (lyrics) – Elena of Avalor
  • Alan Menken & Kevin Kliesch (music), Glenn Slater (lyrics) – Tangled: The Series
  • Vivek Maddala – The Tom and Jerry Show

 

Outstanding Achievement for Music in an Animated Feature Production

  • Danny Elfman (music) Tyler, The Creator (lyrics) – Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch
  • Harry Gregson-Williams, Tom Howe – Early Man
  • Michael Giacchino – Incredibles 2
  • Henry Jackman, Alan Menken & Dan Reynolds (music), Phil Johnston & Tom MacDougall (lyrics) – Ralph Breaks The Internet
  • Heitor Pereira, Karey Kirkpatrick, Wayne Kirkpatrick – Smallfoot
