Concert ‘La Symphonie des Jeux video/The Symphony of Video Games’ at the Théâtre Antique d’Orange

UPDATE (1/8/2021): Concert postponed from 31/7 to 1/8 due to bad weather

Video games are now the number one leisure activity in the world and their music is inseparably linked to symphonic music. From a simple “beep” in the 70’s to today’s orchestral scores, video game music has become as important as movie soundtracks for the general public, and its musical scores have become classics.

Today, the concert “La Symphonie des Jeux video/The Symphony of Video Games” at the Chorégies d’Orange festival in France, will allow hearing the most emblematic musical pages of 30 years of video games, performed by the Orchestre Philharmonique de Marseille conducted by Victor Jacob with the participation of the Choir of the Opéra Orchestre National Montpellier Occitanie, conducted by Valérie Chevalier, choirmaster Noëlle Geny.
