‘Disney in Concert’ and Ainhoa Arteta in Starlite Marbella festival

The summer festival Starlite Marbella has just announced that the event ‘Disney in Concert‘, which could be enjoyed at the end of last year in Madrid and earlier this year in Bilbao (read news), will be held again this July during the festival.

Starlite Marbella, which is already in its sixth edition, is a festival that takes place in La Cantera de Nagüeles in Marbella (Malaga – SPAIN), and this summer will bring together the best national and international artists from July 13th to August 23rd, with names such as Anastacia, Art Garfunkel, Juan Luis Guerra, Elton John, Pretenders, Carlos Vives, Joaquin Sabina, Miguel Bosé, The Cranberries, Ainhoa Arteta, Dwayne Croft or Andrea Bocelli among others.

We can highlight two events related with film music:

On Sunday, July 30th at 10:30 p.m., Disney’s most complete official symphonic show will be performed, with music by Provincial Symphonic Orchestra of Malaga (OSPM) under the baton of Arturo Diez Boscovich, and with the prestigious solo voices of: Paco Arrojo, Julia Moller, Judith Tobella and Diego Rodriguez.

On Tuesday August 8th at 10:30 p.m., soprano Ainhoa Arteta and the baritone Dwayne Croft will give their first concert after 15 years without acting together, accompanied by the Provincial Symphonic Orchestra of Malaga (OSPM) under the baton of Marco De Prosperis, to perform great classics of Hollywood cinema and Broadway musicals, with pieces such as “Moon River” (Breakfast at Tiffany’s), “The Mamma Morta” (Philadelphia) or “Somewhere over the rainbow” (The Wizard of Oz) among others.
