“Ennio Morricone announces a second concert in Spain on his farewell tour from stages.

After selling out tickets in Madrid, #EnnioMorricone wanted to add a new date in Spain: on  May 4 he will be in #Bilbao. Next to Madrid, Bilbao will be the second Spanish event confirmed in the list of cities that Morricone will visit in his last tour. This international tour will be his definitive goodbye from touring after sixty years of prolific career as a composer and conductor.

Maestro Ennio Morricone will personally conduct an orchestra and choir of 200 people who will perform a selection of his most acclaimed compositions and which will feature the Portuguese singer Dulce Pontes Oficial as a guest artist.

After selling out 12,500 tickets for his concert at the WiZink Center in Madrid in just a few hours, Maestro Morricone will offer a new concert in our country. It will be next May 4th at the #BizkaiaArena Bilbao Exhibition Centre (BEC)! of Bilbao. The concert coincides with the May holidays in Spain, in order to facilitate the trips to Bilbao of the people from other provinces, that didn’t get tickets for the event in Madrid.

This way, the great Italian musician and conductor Ennio Morricone will bid farewell to his Spanish audience in two historical performances before finally hanging his baton.”
