Festa del Cinema di Roma 2024 – ‘Cinema in Concerto’ – ACMF

With an orchestra of forty musicians and singers, the Associazione Compositori Musica per Film – ACMF brings to the Festa del Cinema di Rome an authentic Music Festival dedicated to the world of soundtracks. On Saturday, October 26, during the concert at the Teatro Olimpico di Roma conducted by Maestro Alessandro Molinari, the public will be able to listen to the music of Oscar winners Ennio Morricone, Dario Marianelli and Ryūichi Sakamoto, along with that of many of the most interesting composers of the new generations, in a selection of themes drawn from the soundtracks of all audiovisual genres: fiction films, documentaries and TV series. For the first time, there will be ample space for original songs, with numerous guests on stage. Among them will be Piotta and Aku, who will present an unreleased track based on the music composed by Pasquale Catalano for the series Romanzo criminale: ‘Santo Gra’. The setlist also includes a tribute to Fiorenzo Carpi and his unforgettable ‘Pinocchio’.

In the presence of many of the authors involved, themes by Michele Braga & Emanuele Bossi, Paolo Buonvino, Tommy Caputo, Fabio Massimo Capogrosso, Fiorenzo Carpi, Pasquale Catalano, Andrea Farri, Antonio Fresa, Virginia Guastella, Andrea Guerra, Stefano Mainetti, Dario Marianelli, Lele Marchitelli, Massimiliano Mechelli, Alessandro Molinari, Ennio Morricone, Silvia Nair, Ginevra Nervi, Massimo Nunzi, Pino Piccioni, Pivio & Aldo De Scalzi, Piotta, Stefano Reali, Gabriele Roberto, Ryūichi Sakamoto, Kristian Sensini, Claudio Simonetti, Carlo Rustichelli, Giuliano Taviani, Lorenzo Tomio.

The event is held with the support of Nuovo Imaie, Digital Records, and publishers Alabianca, Bixio, Cam Sugar, Curci, Emergency, Flipper, FM Records, Leonardi, Sony.

A.C.M.F. began its journey eight years ago, when a group of Italian composers created an association to promote, support and protect the art of the soundtrack. Since then, it has grown in number and representativeness, extending its borders to artists such as Hans Zimmer, Michael Nyman and Roger Waters.
