From Thursday 22nd of June until Saturday 29th of July, 2017 edition of the festival “Noches del Botanico” (Nights of the Botanical Garden) is being held in the Botanical Garden Alfonso XIII of Madrid (Spain), which includes among its participants artists such as Tony Benett, Anastacia , Pablo Milanes, Ruben Blades, Franco Battiato, Bryan Ferry, UB40 or Giorgio Moroder.
And we’re going to talk about Giorgio Moroder, music producer and composer, because similarly to what he already did in May at the Krakow FMF Festival (read article), he will offer a special concert in Madrid Saturday, July 22nd – 10 pm at the Botanical Garden.
There, Moroder will DJ his music for films such as Top Gun, Flashdance, Electric Dreams or The Midnight Express among others, also showing his compositions for great rock / disco artists such as David Bowie or Donna Summer.
With a price of € 25, there are still tickets available for this concert at the following link (buy tickets)
And to end the festival, on Saturday, July 29th at 10 pm the Verum Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Arturo Díez Boscovich will perform live music to the screening of the Oscar-nominated film La La Land. The evening will feature the original images and dialogues of the film (original English version subtitled in Spanish), going along with the music of the orchestra.
Tickets, ranging in prices from € 71.5 to € 91.5, can be purchased at the following link (buy tickets).
Two very interesting proposals for the next two weekends in Madrid.
