Goya Awards 34th edition – Winners

On, Saturday, January 25th, the gala of the 34th edition of the Goya Awards, often called the Spanish “Oscars”, was celebrated. Organized by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences of Spain, these awards reward the best professionals in each of the different specialties of the sector, both technical and creative.

 

The Goya Award for Best Original Score went to Alberto Iglesias for his work in ‘Dolor y gloria’. Below are the nominees/winners in the music categories:

Best original music/score:

  • Alberto Iglesias – Dolor y gloria
  • Arturo Cardelús – Buñuel en el laberinto de las tortugas
  • Pascal Gaigne – La trinchera infinita
  • Alejandro Amenábar – Mientras dure la guerra

 

Best original song:

  • Javier Ruibal – Intemperie (Película: Intemperie)
  • Caroline Pennell, Jussi Ilmari Karvinen (Jussifer), Justin Tranter – Invisible (Película: Klaus)
  • Toni M. Mir – Allí en la arena (Película: La inocencia)
  • Sergio de la Puente – Nana de las dos lunas (Película: La noche de las dos lunas)
