Joe Hisaishi – Finland 2022 [CANCELLED]

The Epiphany Concert that Japanese composer Joe Hisaishi was going to conduct tomorrow, Thursday, January 6, in Finland, and the second extra concert planned for Saturday, January 8, have been cancelled.

 

Official Statement:

“We regret to tell you that Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra concerts have been cancelled due to a ban on all public events in the Helsinki region, until January 17th 2022. The ticket you have purchased will be reimbursed, information on how to proceed here and 03 053 0003 (mon-fri at 9-14 / 0,08c+local network charge).”

 

The concerts, performed with the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra and with the participation of the soprano Olga Heikkilä, had the following program:

  • JOE HISAISHI – DA-MA-SHI-E
  • JOE HISAISHI – Spirited Away Suite (Finnish premiere)
  • –Intermission–
  • JOE HISAISHI – The East Land Symphony (Finnish premiere)
