Joe Hisaishi in Los Angeles & New York in 2018
The Japanese composer Joe Hisaishi returns to the United States, specifically to Los Angeles in September and to New York in November, after the concert tour that he has offered in August in Japan (read news), and after the concerts he offered in May in San Jose (California, USA) (read news).
These are the dates of the concerts announced in those cities:
The planned program will be the one corresponding to the show ‘Joe Hisaishi Symphonic Concert: Music from the Studio Ghibli Films of Hayao Miyazaki’, with an approximate duration of 2 hours, and with music of the following films:
- Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind
- Kiki’s Delivery Service
- Princess Mononoke
- The Wind Rises
- Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea
- Castle in the Sky
- Porco Rosso
- Howl’s Moving Castle
- Spirited Away
- My Neighbor Totoro
