These concerts are a tribute to the successful and close collaboration between two legendary artists: the composer Joe Hisaishi and the director Hayao Miyazaki, and will include music from about ten of the most popular Ghibli movies.

Under the leadership of Maestro Hisaishi, who will also play the piano, the music will be performed by the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, Katarina Choirs and a number of vocal soloists, while sequences from the movies are projected onto a screen.
