John Williams’ Film Night – Tanglewood 2023 [FREE RADIO BROADCAST]

On Saturday, August 5, Tanglewood hosted the traditional concert ‘John Williams’ Film Night’, performed by the Boston Pops orchestra conducted by John Williams & David Newman, with the participation of the BU Tanglewood Institute Young Artists Vocal Program (Penelope Bitzas, director / Katie Woolf, conductor).

Maestros Williams and Newman shared the podium at the Koussevitzky Music Shed for a memorable night of film clips and music from the silver screen, in a special evening of movie magic, with the following program:
