MOSMA 2017 – ‘David Shire at the Movies’ concert

A few days ago MOSMA (Movie Score Malaga) announced the concert “David Shire at the Movies – MOSMA HONORED“, to be held next Friday, July 7 at 7:00 pm at the Echegaray Theater in Malaga, which is to replace the canceled concert “Mosored Honored – Jose Nieto: the master of Spanish film music” (read news).

 

This new concert will consist of a piano and voice recital, where David Shire himself will play songs from his album “David Shire at the Movies“, accompanied by vocalist Sylvia Parejo. Great news for all fans of David Shire who will have the opportunity to see this legendary composer live, and who casually turns 80 years before the festival starts, on July 3rd.

 

Those people who bought the full MOSMA season tickets in advance and did not request a refund of the José Nieto concert ticket, have this David Shire concert included in their tickets, as has been informed by email.

 

Those who bought the season tickets that went on sale after the cancellation of the concert of José Nieto or who requested to return the ticket, must buy a ticket for the concert at a price of € 15 on the following link:

MOSMA 2017 has also announced the arrival of three new composers: Timothy Williams, Peter Gregson and Joel J. Richard, participating some of them as soloists in the concert of July 5th.
