Nights of Music and Cinema in the Province of Cordoba 2018

The Provincial Council of Cordoba has presented today in a press conference a cycle of free film music concerts, that will be celebrated in the following days across the province; concerts that will stop in several small picturesque localities and venues of cultural and artistic interest.

Five places will be visited in this third edition of 2018:

  • Friday 13th of July – 10 p.m. – Coliseo – Almedinilla
  • Saturday 14th of July – 10 p.m. – Pablo Picasso Street – Villa Del Río
  • Friday 20th of July – 10 p.m. – Town Hall Square – Dos Torres
  • Saturday 21st of July – 10 p.m. – Town Hall Square – Fuente Palmera
  • Sunday 22nd of July – 10 p.m. – Montemayor

The concerts, which will have audiovisual content projected on a giant screen to complement the music of the orchestra, will also include the presence of the Basque actress Nerea Garmendia, who will present the themes to be performed and will narrate interesting anecdotes about the films and their soundtracks.

 

The planned program is as follows:

  • Superman – John Williams
  • Pirates of the Caribbean – Klaus Badelt & Hans Zimmer
  • Dances with Wolves – John Barry
  • Indiana Jones – John Williams
  • The Lion King – Hans Zimmer
  • Aladdin – Alan Menken
  • Frozen – Robert López & Kirsten Anderson-López & Christophe Beck
  • Breakfast at Tiffany’s – Henry Mancini
  • Forrest Gump – Alan Silvestri
  • Titanic – James Horner

 

During the night there will be several surprises that have not been revealed, in a program with a duration of 88 minutes, including presentations.
