The 93rd Oscars, to be held this Sunday, April 25, 2021, will premiere a special event to substitute the traditional red carpet: “Oscars: Into the Spotlight”.
This 90-minute show, which will be broadcast prior to the ceremony, will have composers Daniel Pemberton and Diane Warren performing their Oscar-nominated songs. The show, that will include the five nominated songs, will feature one performance recorded in Húsavík, Iceland and four at the Dolby Family Terrace of the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles, with the voices of Celeste Waite, H.E.R., Leslie Odom, Jr., Laura Pausini, and Molly Sandén.
