Festival de Cinéma et de Musique de Film de La Baule 2026 – 12th Edition – Bruno Coulais

Over the course of his career, Bruno Coulais has established himself as a singular voice, developing an immediately recognizable sound universe, where poetry, evocative power and musical audacity mingle.

Awarded several times, he won three Césars of Best Original Music for Microcosmos: The People of Grass, Himalaya: The Childhood of a Chef and The Chorists who also earned him a nomination at the Oscar for Best Original Song.

Prolific composer we owe him more than 200 film music, including also: Adultère (instructions for use), Les Rivières pourpres, Vidocq, Le Peuple migrateur, Agents secrets, Brice de Nice, MR 73, Coraline, Oceans, Les Adieux à la reine, On the track of Marsupilami or Maigret.

This unprecedented concert will make it possible to rediscover the emotion and power of these scores which, for 50 years, have accompanied the imagination of cinema and participate in writing its memory.

It will take place on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 7 p.m. in the Auditorium at Palais des Congrès Atlantia in La Baule and will be preceded by the festival awards ceremony in the presence of invited talents this year (total duration: 2h15, including 1h15 of concert).
